Fallen Trees, Storm Debris & Brush Piles — Cleared and Gone

Heavy equipment for the cleanup a chainsaw and a pickup can’t handle  •  Haul-off or on-site  •  Free quotes

Serving Jackson, Cass & Lafayette County, MO — Locally owned in Grain Valley

When the Storm’s Over, the Work Starts

Kansas City storms don’t ask permission. One bad night of wind leaves trees down across driveways, limbs scattered over an acre, and debris piled up where water used to flow. And the piles left behind after a clearing project don’t move themselves either.

Solid Ground handles the cleanup that’s too big for a chainsaw and a weekend: storm-downed trees and limbs, wind-thrown debris, and the brush piles that build up after land clearing or years of property neglect. We run a Takeuchi TL12-R2 track loader and a Kubota mini excavator — equipment that moves in a day what hand crews move in a week.

Your choice on what happens to the debris: we can haul it off your property entirely, or consolidate it into a burn-ready pile on site if you’d rather handle it from there. Either way, you get a straight answer on cost before we start.

Debris Removal — Frequently Asked Questions

How fast can you respond after a storm?

We prioritize storm cleanup calls, especially where a downed tree or blocked driveway is keeping you from using your property. Call or text 816-316-0261 — after major storms we work through the list as fast as equipment and daylight allow.

Do you haul the debris away or leave it on site?

Your choice. We can haul everything off your property, or consolidate it into a burn-ready pile on site at a lower cost. We’ll quote both options.

How much does storm cleanup or debris removal cost?

It depends entirely on the volume of debris and access to it, so we quote each job individually. Quotes are free, and the price we give you is the price you pay. Photos of the debris help us give you a ballpark by phone.

Can you remove a tree that fell on my driveway or fence line?

Yes — downed and fallen trees are exactly what our equipment is built for. We cut, move, and remove trees that are already on the ground. We don’t do standing-tree takedowns near structures — that’s arborist work — but once it’s down, it’s ours.

Do you clean up brush piles left over from clearing work?

Yes. Whether we did the clearing or someone else did, we can load and haul off brush piles, stumps, and accumulated land debris. It pairs naturally with our forestry mulching and brush clearing services.

What equipment do you use for debris removal?

A Takeuchi TL12-R2 track loader and a Kubota mini excavator — heavy equipment that moves large debris fast, with far less hand labor than a chainsaw crew. The track system handles wet ground and rough terrain where wheeled equipment can’t safely operate.

What areas do you serve?

Jackson, Cass, and Lafayette County, Missouri — roughly a 50-mile radius from Grain Valley. That includes Kansas City, Blue Springs, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, and surrounding towns.
